A story of stone, wood, and comfort..

The furnishings of our rooms, while maintaining simple and clean lines, are original and full of character. Many elements—such as the traditional Tuscan terracotta ceilings—have been faithfully restored to reflect the original spirit of the Borgo. The floors are made of handmade Tuscan terracotta tiles, fired in a wood oven using traditional methods.

Most of the furnishings have been custom-made by local artisans, following exclusive designs created specifically for us. Each bathroom has been completely renovated to offer a moment of exclusive relaxation and privacy. We’ve preserved the original size of the hamlet’s windows, walls and room, as we believe our guests should experience life just as the inhabitants of Borgo Vescine once did.

Our Superior Suites are equipped with either goose feather or memory foam pillows and feature high-quality sprung mattresses with a memory foam top layer. The ceilings showcase authentic Tuscan beams, some of which were recovered during the restoration of the Borgo’s original rooftops. The terracotta floor tiles are handmade and wood-fired, while in some rooms—particularly in the bathrooms—we’ve recreated the effect of historical plasterwork using a custom finish made from limestone and sealed with natural wax.

A room diffuser subtly releases notes reminiscent of old wine barrels, evoking our deep heritage as wine producers.

Each private bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, a large wall mirror, and plush cotton towels. Guests will also find a bathrobe, slippers, and an essential courtesy set. In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability, we have eliminated single-use plastic amenities. All bath products—including shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap—are locally produced, underlining our connection to the region.

The in-room minibars are restocked daily and designed to reduce energy consumption and minimize waste. We offer a refined selection of local teas and herbal infusions, coffee, drinks, and snacks. A glass bottle of water is provided every day as part of the turndown service.
