This hotel is excellent. We booked a "suite" for two adults and two kids. We had two completely separate rooms, with a bathroom in between, separated by heavy doors--so early risers didn't wake late sleepers. The buildings are stone, the walkways are brick and lined with lavendar and other aromatic plants, and the service is professional and friendly. The breakfasts are a delicious spread including hearty bread, local meats and cheeses, yogurt and eggs. The pool is friendly with gorgeous views, and there's a tennis court with racquets and balls available. The hotel is located between two charming small towns and close to lots of others, with great access to Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo and other sites. I could have spent a month here and loved every minute.

We booked our room via the Internet based on the reviews we had read and the pictures - and the actual experience surpassed them all. The unexpected highlight was the food - each night an amazing Tuscan feast is offered for 25 euros per person. These turned out to be the best meals we had in all of Italy! The staff was friendly and helpful (many thanks to Vincenzo for the lessons on Chianti Classico!), the rooms were clean and spacious, and the location is incredible - as long as you like things quiet with amazing views of rolling Tuscan hills. Good spot between Florence and Siena for visits. A great experience!
threeThis property was fantastic. The location was absolutely beutiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent and the atmosphere was fantastic.
fourThis is the most beautiful hotel that we stayed on our trip that included Siena, Florence and Rome. The setting is amazing. The villa is located in the middle of the rolling hills of Chianti and is quiet and poetic. The room is huge, and the pool area is beautiful too. The bathroom is updated, but not luxury. The breakfast is good, and the staff very friendly. Loved this place--the best part of our trip!
fiveCouln't be better! Great service, excellent food and wine. Very helpful staff. Great surroundings (ahem... by just giving high scores it may be that there's no room for us the next time we are to visit, but they we'll risk it... they deserve good scores).
